It’s that time of the season where bonfires happen. Roasting marsh mellows and to talking to friends and family is what makes a good bonfire. Now when a person sees people sitting around the fire and telling stories only happens in movies. The bonfires I have are a little more extreme. The fires I make are no little camp fire. At My fires a person has to stand 10 ft away just to enjoy it. Dad calls it a White Man’s fire! Most of the time, people at my bonfires talk about what happened recently or what their views on stuff are. Story time always happens at my bonfires, it happens whenever it comes to one’s mind. Then the roasting of the marsh mellows finally is ready to happen. Some people like to take the time to make the perfect mellow. Some stick the mellow straight into the hottest part of the fire and makes it pitch black. It’s all about a person’s taste buds and what they like. As the night progresses on, I start a game of night games. For those who don’t know what night games (that your own fault) it’s where we play fun, sometimes scary, sweet games at night. Some play regular hide and go seek or the favorite scary night game of mine is Bloody Mary. A couple years ago I upgraded the whole thing of night games. My family calls it Ultimate Night Games! It where the four wheeler is involved. That makes night games a lot more fun and exciting. After having so much fun and excitement from night games, I get everyone to come back around the fire to relax. From there and until they leave, they can do what they want. (It has to be legal and nothing gross or inappropriate) The whole purpose of a bonfire, that I believe, is to have fun, interact with people, enjoy life, get the bad and the stressful things off the mind, and to relax. Also worth it to make a bonfire to remember about. Make it worth a person time. Make it be one of those memories that will be brought up at a bonfire later down the road in life.
